A mortgage contract may be entered into for a variety of reasons including:
- the purchase of an existing or new-build property,
- the purchase of what is currently a rental property,
- a refinancing exercise with the aim of lowering the running cost of the mortgage,
- a refinancing exercise with a view to the current property’s refurbishment,
- utilisation of the equity for consumption purposes.
No two mortgages are alike. A proper mortgage is geared to your particular situation, and should be tailor-made to reflect your requirements and personal preferences.
Please fill in this contact form if you are interested in being provided with detailed information on what would be a suitable mortgage arrangement for you.
It is a good idea when buying or selling a property to arrange for a structural survey to be carried out. The – elaborate – report that is drawn up of such a survey complies with National Mortgage Guarantee standards. The structural reports in whose preparation the SOS Estate Agency has been involved are acknowledged by the Homeownership Guarantee Fund Foundation (as the organisation in charge of executing the National Mortgage Guarantee scheme) and by all AFM-registered financial institutions (AFM being the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets as the national watchdog organisation).
A structural survey report outlines the structural condition of the property in question in straightforward terms accompanied by full-colour photographs. It is made available as a soft or hard copy (or both).
Please fill in this contact form if you are interested in being provided with detailed information on structural surveys.
